ASHLAND – Pauline (Scahill) D’Alesio, 89, passed peacefully on November 29, 2021 following a period of declining health.
She was the devoted wife of the late Vincent D’Alesio for 55 years.
She was born in Hopedale to Irish immigrants James and Sarah Scahill.
She is predeceased by siblings John Scahill, Mary Challela, Nancy Powers and Eileen Callery. She is survived by three loving and caring daughters: Patricia Baker of Danvers; Maryellen Brown of Framingham; and Joan Feeney and her husband Joseph of Needham; six beloved grandchildren: Brittany and Kelly Baker, Gregory and Paige Brown, and Patrick and Colleen Feeney. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Gately and was an aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She and Vincent married and moved to Ashland in 1958.
For the past 10 years, Pauline resided in Needham. Pauline was a homemaker and later held office support positions.
A private funeral was recently held.
