FRAMINGHAM – Water Main Flushing via hydrants will begin Monday, October 4 in Zone 1 of the City, Announced Framingham Department of Public Works.

Flushing will be conducted Monday-Friday (excluding holidays), from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The purpose of the program is to improve drinking water quality for residents and businesses in Framingham.

The flushing process may cause discolored water and a reduction in pressure. The discoloration of the water will be temporary and is not harmful.

  • Salem End Road
  • Adams Road
