MARLBOROUGH – Frank C. Borawski, Jr has joined St. Mary’s Credit Union as CFO and Senior Vice President of Finance. Prior to St. Mary’s Credit Union, Borawski was most recently employed as Vice President and Lead Finance Officer at State Street Bank.

He has also held roles in the Finance, Treasury, and Audit Departments within Citizens Financial Group and Brookline Bancorp.

Borawski will oversee the Credit Union’s accounting, finance, investments, treasury, asset-liability management, and financial analytics functions. He will help drive the development and implementation of the Credit Union’s Strategic Plan, and he will recommend short and long-term strategies and programs to achieve the established goals and objectives. Borawski will work across all business channels to the achievement of financial goals while maintaining St. Mary’s collaborative, supportive and forward-thinking culture.

Borawski earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University with a dual concentration in Finance and Operations & Technology Management. He is a CFA Charter holder and has a Six Sigma Green Belt certification. While at his previous roles, he instituted an internship program with Northeastern University Co-Op at Brookline Bancorp and was also a board member for the Rising Professionals Group (RPG) at Citizens Financial Group, which was a group dedicated to networking for VP & junior level employees.
