FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham announced four more individual have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of positive cases as of Sunday, March 29 at 46.
Framingham currently has 35 active cases, as one individual has died and 10 have recovered, said the City in a press release.

Following the guidance from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the Framingham Department of Health has not shared any additional information about those who have tested positive because of privacy laws.
The Department is in contact with the people who were potentially exposed to the positive cases and the owners of the businesses or place of employment where the potential exposures occurred to inform and counsel them on next steps.

Massachusetts Department of Public Health announced a total of 4,257 positive coronavirus cases as of yesterday, March 28, an increase of 1,017 new cases. Yesterday, there were 3,240 cases.
That is a 31.38% increase in the number of positive cases in one day.
Suffolk County has the most cases at 843, followed by Middlesex County at 842 in Massachusetts, as of yesterday.
Framingham has the most cases in MetroWest.
