FRAMINGHAM – Amazon’s pantry service is temporarily closed.
“Due to high order volumes, Pantry is not accepting new orders at this time,” said the nationwide retailer.

“This means that items listed as ‘Ships & Sold from Pantry’ cannot be added to your cart. We apologize for this inconvenience, and are working with our partners to get these items back in stock as quickly as possible,” said the retailer.
“You can still shop for household staples and other essentials through the following stores: Fresh, Whole Foods, Grocery or Household products. At this time, due to high demand, our other stores may have limited availability and delivery,” recommended the retailer.

Amazon temporarily suspended a New York delivery station after one of its workers tested positive for COVID-19.
Rena Lunak, a spokesperson for the retail giant, told The Atlantic that the employee is now in quarantine and that the warehouse has stepped up its “daily deep cleaning” efforts there as a precaution.
“”We’ve temporarily closed the Queens delivery station for additional sanitation and have sent associates home with full pay,” said the retailer to U.S. New & World Report.
With Amazon Pantry, Amazon customers in the contiguous US can skip the trip to the store and shop online for household essentials in everyday sizes – and save even more on top of our low-prices for grocery items.
