FRAMINGHAM – Firefighters battled a brush and garage fire at 8 Arlington Place tonight, May 21.

The call came in at 7:41 p.m. for the fire, said the Deputy Fire Chief.

Framingham Fire engine 3, engine 5, ladder 3, the brush truck, engine 1, ambulance 3, the rescue truck, and the command vehicle all responded to the single-alarm fire.

It started as an outside fire that extended into the garage area, said Framingham Deputy Fire Chief Jose Lopez.

The fire was at Franny’s landscaping, and damage was contained to the outside of the structure, said the deputy chief.

The first started with some outside burning, said the deputy fire chief.

There were no injuries, said Deputy Fire Chief Lopez.

The last company left the scene at 10 p.m., said the deputy chief.
