, NATICK – Nancy A. Tatten, 61, of Portsmouth and Rochester NH (Formerly of Natick and Waltham) passed away suddenly on April 3, 2021.

Nancy was born to Marguerite (Vivequin) and James E. Tatten II of Newton. She was the sister of Sue Tatten of Monrovia, Liberia and Barrington, NH; Patricia Kelleher and her husband Francis of MA; James E. Tatten III of Watertown, MA; Maureen Tatten of Barrington, NH; and Janet McGrath and her husband David, of MA. Nancy was the loving Aunt to Christopher and Julianne Kelleher, Ryan and Kyle Tatten, and Russell McGrath. She was the Great Aunt to Jamison Tatten of Manchester, NH. She left behind three loving Aunts, many, many cousins, and some long-time friends. Nancy leaves behind her adopted beloved cat Smokey.

Nancy had a loving and free-spirited heart. She was educated in the Natick school systems.

She had a career working with circuit boards to build electronic equipment with her most recent 12-year employment at Dover Flexo Electronics in Rochester NH, until she became disabled in 2019.

She collected crystals and gems from mines she enjoyed visiting. Nancy was quite creative with her beadwork jewelry craft. She donated many of her creations in honor of family and friends lost to cancer, plus blessing her family, friends, and anyone in need, with her lovely handiwork. Please say a prayer or do a good deed to brighten someone who is in need or lonely, in memory of Nancy A. Tatten.

Visiting in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street in Natick on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11 a.m. with a service at noon.

Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Natick. 

All are welcome. Please wear masks and practice social distancing. 

The family intends to have a celebration of life gathering around Nancy’s birthday this summer, to be able to visit with family and friends at a safer time.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy’s memory may be made to a food pantry of your choice, or the Pope Memorial Humane Society (formerly Cocheco Valley Humane Society), 221 County Farm Road, Dover, NH 03820.
