FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham plans to hold a series of Saturday clinics for the 75+ community at Keefe Technical High School (750 Winter St, Framingham, MA 01702) based on the available doses of vaccine received from the State.
The Framingham Vaccine Clinic process is as follows:
Every Monday, the Health Department requests a vaccine allotment from the State (300 doses is the maximum the City can request for now).
The City may not receive as many vaccines as requested, and the numbers can change week by week. The number of vaccine doses received determines how many appointments can be offered.
On Wednesday/Thursday, the City will learn how many vaccine doses it will receive.

Every Friday, the City will announce clinic information for the following Saturday (not the next day, the Saturday that is eight days later).
At the same time, Framingham will announce when the registration will open at a set time and day. Each vaccination clinic is a separate event with a separate listing and registration.
Resident who receive Dose 1 at the City’s clinics will be invited to register for a Dose 2 clinic via email. The Dose 2 clinic will be for a specific date and time and will not be publicly advertised. The second vaccine clinic is critical as it ensures residents are offered Dose 2 at the appropriate time. The City will only receive enough Dose 2 vaccines for the residents vaccinated at a Dose 1 clinic.
Due to high demand and a constrained supply at the State and Federal level, Framingham’s ability to provide vaccines to residents is limited. Residents who are currently eligible for the vaccine and can travel should regularly check the State’s website for clinic availability.
