FRAMINGHAM – In response to the COVID pandemic and our desire to bring students back to in-person learning, Framingham Public Schools (FPS) has created two different positions with several immediate openings.
“We need community support to share these job descriptions with their networks to help find candidates,” said the district in a press release.
Many teachers need Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or childcare accommodations due to COVID.
To meet the needs of our workforce, filling these positions allows teachers to continue teleworking with in-classroom support or provides in-District child care to allow teachers to return to in-person instruction.
Emergency COVID Response Classroom Supervisor (30-40 Openings)
This position will act as a collaborative partner to a teacher who will teach remotely while the individual who fills this position offers supervision and support to students in person. Emergency COVID Response Classroom Supervisors report to the building Principals. It is a temporary position (January – June) offering 7 hours per day, 5 days per week, $25-$30 per hour, paid 30-minute lunch, paid training, full benefits, and a guaranteed interview for a future job for the 2021-2022 school year. Emergency COVID Response Child Care Supervisor (~5 Openings)
This position will oversee children of staff by providing supervision and basic care for children’s needs to enable staff to deliver Framingham Public Schools’ high expectations for achievement, equal access to high levels of instruction.
