FRAMINGHAM – Linda D. Haywood, 67, of Framingham, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 26, 2020.

Linda was born in Edenton, North Carolina on September 8, 1953.

Linda is survived by her parents, Arnold and Ruth Haywood of Framingham; sisters, Cheryl Haywood of Framingham and Jacqueline Haywood Wood (Mark) of Marlboro; Aunt Mabel Marshall of Jamaica Plain; Uncle Fred Harris of Norfolk, Virginia; long-time companion, Dane Howard of Framingham; and a host of adoring aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends. Linda is pre-deceased by her loving brother Ronald W. Haywood.

Linda grew up in Newton, and was a resident of Natick and Framingham.

Linda worked as a nursing assistant for many years at Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick until she retired.

Linda was a devoted Christian and a kind and spiritual woman, who loved the Lord Jesus Christ and is now resting peacefully at home in Heaven’s Glory.

In lieu of flowers or gifts please donate to the NAACP in memory of Linda. No memorial events are currently scheduled. “For this is a journey we all must take, and each must go alone. It’s all part of the Master’s Plan, a step on the road to home.”
