Gov. Baker To Issue New COVID Executive Orders Today

BOSTON – Today, November 2, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker and Lt. Governor Karyn Polito will join Secretary of Health and Human Services Marylou Sudders to discuss new executive orders affecting the reopening process due to recent increases in new cases and hospitalizations of COVID-19 across the state.

A press conference will be held at 1:30 p.m. today.

Massachusetts has reported 1,000 new COVID cases per day in the past week.

There were 2,431 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Massachusetts over the weekend,
