FRAMINGHAM – For the seventh consecutive week in a row, Framingham is a high-risk or red community for the coronavirus.

The City of Framingham is one of six communities out of 351 that the state is providing additional assistance. Framingham is featured in the new television ads promoting COVID safety by the Commonwealth.

Since the beginning of September, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts provided outreach teams who speak multi-languages to distribute multi-language flyers and free masks to help stop the spread of COVID-19 in Framingham.

Here is where the outreach teams will be this weekend:

Anticipated Schedule for Saturday, October 17:

o 10 a.m.-1 p.m.: Seabra Foods (208 Waverly St.), hand out flyers and hand sanitizers
o 10 a.m.-1 p.m.: Literature drop at Cochituate Homes (12a Interfaith Terrace)
o 10 a.m.-1 p.m.: Literature drop at Pelham Apartments (75 2nd St.)
o 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m.: Business walk along Union Ave. and Main St. to hand out flyers and
distribute window signs and stacks of literature to businesses
o 1:30-4:30 p.m.: Butterworth Park (Corner of Bishop and Arthur Streets), hand out flyers and
hand sanitizers
o 1:30-4:30 p.m.: Literature drop at Bishop Garden Condos (100 Bishop Dr.)

Anticipated Schedule for Sunday, October 18:
o 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: St. Tarcisius Parish (562 Waverly St.), hand out flyers and hand sanitizers
o 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: Brazilian Assembly of God (48 Clinton St.), hand out flyers and hand
sanitizers
o 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: Igreja Do Evangelho Quadrangular (11 Beech St.), hand out flyers and hand
sanitizers
o 12:30-4 p.m.: Seabra Foods (208 Waverly St.), hand out flyers and hand sanitizers
o 12:30-4 p.m.: Tesoros Market (80 Hollis St.), hand out flyers and hand sanitizers
