FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Cultural Council awards grants to private and public/municipal organizations, and individuals for cultural projects that benefit Framingham residents. Funds for these projects are made available from the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) and from donations.
The Cultural Council Grants fund a variety of cultural projects and activities in Framingham. These include but are not limited to exhibits, workshops, lectures, festivals, or performances in schools, and field trip grants which provide subsidies for school-age children to attend cultural field trips. The
program or project must be completed within calendar year 2021.
Some previously funded projects include: Framingham Library Summer Concert Series, Callahan Senior Center Cultural Art Series, a Hispanic/American Festival, and field trip tours to Museum of Fine Arts and Museum of Science.
