Mayor Nominates DelMonaco To Framingham Fair Housing Committee

FRAMINGHAM – Mayor Yvonne Spicer has nominated Danya DelMonaco of District 8 to the City’s Fair Housing Committee.

The Fair Housing Committee’s mission is to educate the community and residents on matters of fair housing. It accomplishes its mission by promoting access to decent, safe, and affordable housing for all segments of the community and through the study of issues, public education, and advocacy.

DelMonaco “has worked within the Human Services field locally for the past eleven years and in that time gained extensive knowledge in the area of housing,” wrote the mayor in her email to the 11-member City Council.

Mayor Spicer nominated her for a 3-year term to end on June 30, 2023.

The City Council has 30 days to act on the nomination or it becomes official.
