City of Framingham: 2 New COVID-19 Cases, 85 Active, Total 1,776

FRAMINGHAM – Today, July 24, the City of Framingham announced 2 residents have tested positive for COVID-19, since Wednesday. The City said it has 85 active cases of the coronavirus.

There have been a total of 1,776 coronavirus cases in the City of Framingham in 2020.

The good news is 1,572 individuals have recovered.

The City is reporting another COVID-19 deaths.

City now reporting 119 individuals have died from the COVID-19 or complications from the virus, since the pandemic began.

In addition to the active cases, the Framingham Health Department currently is following 69 residents in quarantine.

There are more than 70,000 residents in the City of Framingham.

So roughly, 2.5% of the city tested positive for the virus.

The City announced last month instead of daily updates on the coronavirus, it will now only provide updates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
