“An emerging priority in the Kubernetes value chain is data protection and application mobility,” said Freiberg. “There are a number of smart teams pursuing this opportunity, and Trilio has a significant advantage in that the technology and approach is proven in enterprise-grade cloud environments. Trilio’s latest product for Kubernetes, was specifically architected to natively protect Kubernetes applications in an agentless, forever scalable and non-disruptive manner. The cloud-native landscape is rapidly evolving and it will be an exciting challenge to help the Trilio team make the right moves and seize an advantage as enterprises accelerate production deployments in multi-cloud environments.”

Trilio recently announced early access availability of TrilioVault for Kubernetes, a cloud-native, application-centric data protection platform that was designed from the ground-up to support the scale, performance and mobility requirements of Kubernetes applications across any cloud environment.

The platform offers backup and recovery of the entire application, including data, metadata and any other Kubernetes objects associated with the application, so it is protected and able to be restored from any point-in-time.

TrilioVault for Kubernetes supports applications provisioned via Operators, Helm or Labels and is cloud-agnostic, offering customers the agility to move with the application across public and private cloud infrastructure.

The product is Red Hat OpenShift Operator Certified and available for download at www.trilio.io/plans.
