Thelma L. Belloli, 96, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Saturday, December 7, 2024 after a period of declining health. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of Italian immigrants, the late Angelo & Amedea (Casasco) Belloli.
Thelma was raised and educated in Framingham and went on to secretarial school afterward. She worked for many years as an administrative assistant with the US Government in Germany, Saigon, and ultimately Washington, D.C., returning to Framingham after her retirement.
Always active, Thelma loved to travel, play golf, tennis and badminton, as well as cycling, hiking and skiing.
Thelma is survived by her nieces, Linda Walbridge & her husband Bruce of Ashland, Susan Murray & her husband Charles of Dedham, Barbara Wilson & her husband Gery, of Lancaster, Ellen Grenier of Athol, and Anni Powers & her husband Eric of Framingham. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Alcide Belloli, and Lena Rotelli, and her nieces, Dianne Besana and Joan DeGrandmaison.
Family and friends will honor and remember Thelma’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the Norton, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 53 Beech St, Framingham on Friday morning, December 13th from 9 to 10:30. Her funeral mass will follow in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly St. Framingham at 11 o’clock. Interment will follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery.
