This week, we recognize Perioperative Nurse Week® November 10 – 16, 2024. Our Perioperative registered nurses are a critical part of the OR, ensuring surgeries go smoothly and our patients receive excellent care throughout. Periop nurses provide specialized nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in the hospital and ambulatory surgery setting. They are here early in the morning and often come in after hours or on weekends when needed for emergencies. Their dedication to clinical excellence and compassionate care is one of the key reasons our OR is such a great place to have a procedure. Pictured are few of those incredible nurses!
