Antonina “Anne” (Giammarinaro) Rullie, 82, a lifelong resident of Framingham died peacefully, Tuesday, December 26, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born the daughter of Gaspare & Rose (Mangano) Giammarinaro, she was the beloved wife of the late Robert F. Rullie.

Anne was a graduate of Framingham High School and over her lifetime held many positions of responsibility. For years she worked for the United States defense contractor Raytheon Corporation holding the position of Executive Secretary.  She received multiple awards for her suggestions concerning multiple projects including the Patriot Missile Project. Later on, after retirement she worked for Lifeline in Framingham responding to emergency calls and worked directly with first responders. Anne also worked for the State of Massachusetts helping the unemployed find meaningful employment.

Anne was an extremely kind and generous person. She never thought twice to help someone in need and never talked badly of anyone. She was the perfect wife and mother who never left her husband’s side and was always there for her children

Anne was multi-talented, a great cook and a skilled Afghan knitter. She enjoyed the occasional day trips with her husband to Foxwoods, New York City, and her favorite beach, Nantasket.

Anne is survived by her children, Robert G. of Framingham, Scott A. & his wife Marcia of Millville, Laura of Cape Cod and Tennessee, her grandchildren, Matthew J. Carey, Michael Raymond, Noah Raymond, and Sarah Rullie, her siblings, Paul Giammarinaro and his wife Kathy of Framingham, James Giammarinaro and his wife Marion of Ashland, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband Bob, Anne was predeceased by her brother, John Giammarinaro.

Family and friends will honor and remember Anne’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Sunday, January 7th from 2-5PM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, January 8th at 10 am in St. Bridget Church, 830 Worcester Rd. Framingham. Interment will follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery.
