It is with great sadness our family announces the death of Stephen Anthony Ceruti, August 27, 2023, age 33, of Framingham and formerly of Sherborn.

Born in Natick, Stephen was the beloved son of Domenic “Gerry” Ceruti of Framingham and Linda (Nickerson) Ceruti of LaGrange GA. He was the stepson of Patricia (Lambert)Ceruti.

He spent most of his childhood in Sherborn attending Sherborn public schools.

Stephen was known by many in the Motocross world, won many championships and will always be remembered as #40. In his early teens, due to a motocross accident Stephen became addicted to opiates and throughout the next 20 years tried to overcome this awful disease. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his illness and left his family devastated, especially his father and best friend, Gerry.

Stephen was also a very talented equipment operator, mechanic, landscaper and did many different types of construction in his young life.

Stephen had friends from all walks of life. He showed compassion, encouragement, and support to many. He truly had a caring heart and would give you the shirt off his back. He will be remembered for his kind soul, his love for animals, children, his family, and friends. He will forever be loved and missed by so many, especially his pups, Scooby, and Baby.

In addition to his parents, Stephen is survived by his five siblings: his brothers Gary Gray of Revere, Mark Nickerson and his wife Kelly of Natick, David Ceruti and his wife Gina of Framingham, his sisters Elizabeth Graves and her fiancé Trea Jackson of GA and Christina Jaeger and her husband Nathan of Scituate; nieces and nephews Ariana, Hailey and Robert Duncan, Bella and Colton Ceruti and Katelyn, Owen and Parker Nickerson and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Stephen was the grandson of Regina Ceccarini of Framingham.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Gerald D. Ceccarini, Marilyn White, and William Nickerson: his great-aunt Mary A. Martel, who was a big part of his life when he was young; great uncle Raymond Martel and his cousin Michael A. Eden.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life to be held at La Cantina Restaurant, 911 Waverly Street, Framingham, MA on October 21, 2023, from 11am to 2pm.
