Rose F. (Taddeo) Cosman, 87, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Saturday, June 24, 2023, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Michael & Palma (DeCesare) Taddeo.

Raised and educated in Framingham, Rose was a graduate of Framingham High School, and went on to attend secretarial school. She worked as an administrative assistant for many years in banking. In 1956 she married Robert V. Cosman, and together they raised their family in Framingham.

Rose was a talented baker and cake decorator.  She loved to bake for any and every occasion. She was a longtime communicant of St. Tarcisius Church, and was an avid New England Patriots fan.

Rose is survived by her children, Debbie Theroux & her husband Paul of Holliston, and Bobby Cosman of Marlborough, her grandchildren, Kevin Theroux, Matthew Theroux & his wife Missy, and Laura Croteau & her husband Jim, her great grandchildren, Leah, Giana, Alex, Allison, Zachary, and Nathan, her siblings, Ann Sauer of Natick, and John Taddeo of Framingham, her brother in law Henry Cosman & his wife Jane, her sister in law Rosemary Comiskey, and many nieces and nephews.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her daughter Cheryl, her brother Michael Taddeo, and her sister, Dorothy Klein.

Family and friends will honor and remember Rose’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Thursday morning, June 29th from 8:30 – 9:30AM. Her Funeral Mass will follow in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly St. Framingham at 10:00 o’clock.   Interment in St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham.
