Boys Lacrosse beats Wellesley 12-11
The Framingham boys were able to come together again and get a highly sought win against head coach Jimmy Connolly and his 17th ranked Wellesley Raiders. Framingham boys varsity lacrosse has not had a win over Wellesley in 8 years.
Highlights from the game include:
Senior Captain Cam Soave had another strong performance in goal with 14 saves
Senior Captain Justin Nichols scoring an incredible 4 goals
Senior Captain Bill Neiberger scoring an outstanding 3 goals
Midfielder Owen Warren had a dominant 4 assists
Senior Captain John Yerardi had a great game scoring 2 goals and had 1 assist
Midfielder Brenden Peck had a strong showing with 3 assists
Midfielder Alex Treweiler scoring 1 goal
Defenseman Mitch Goldberg scoring 1 goal
Midfielder Will Zigmont scoring 1 goal
The defense and LSM did an awesome job dictating the pace of the game, especially on transitions.
