NATICK – Maureen Teresa Kelley, 72, of Natick, died Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the Colony Center For Health & Rehabilitation, Abington, after a long illness. She never lost her sense of humor.

Born in Natick, MA, Maureen was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Kathleen (Carroll) Kelley. She is a graduate of Natick High School and the University of Massachusetts, Boston.

Over her lifetime, Ms. Kelley worked in a variety of social services positions in eastern Massachusetts.

She had worked as an office administrator for the Town of Framingham just prior to her illness.

She was a member of the Natick Democratic Town Committee and had served on the 4th of July Committee.

She is survived by a sister, Denise Rioux of Abington, MA; a brother, Michael Kelley of Milford, MA; and four nieces, Gabrielle Lawson of Abington, MA;  Jennifer Landry of Milford, MA; Nicole Davis of Salem, MA; and Jessica Noble of Maynard, MA, as well as eight great-nieces and -nephews. Her family would all like to thank the staff at Colony Center and Constellation hospice services for their attention and care for Maureen.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 4 p.m.  in John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street in Natick Common.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visiting hours will also be held on Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 2-4 p.m., in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home.

Burial will be private.
