FRAMINGHAM – Margaret J. Fantoni, 92, a longtime resident of Framingham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Mary Ann Morse in Natick.

She was the daughter of the late Enrico and Josephine (Marzetta) Fantoni.

 She was born and raised in Framingham and was a graduate of Framingham High School Class of 1948.

Margaret had a long career working as a clerk for the former Shawmut Bank.  She formerly worked for J.J. Newberry.

She is the beloved twin sister of Alice Cicconi, who resides at Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center in Natick.

She is also survived by and will be missed dearly by her nephews Daniel Cicconi and his wife Dora of Milford, Henry Fantoni of Framingham, Ronald Ford, niece Nancy True and several great nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Marco Fantoni, Mary Ford, Amelia Fantoni and Eleanor True. She was also predeceased by her niece Patricia Gencarella.

At her request, a private memorial funeral Mass will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street, Framingham.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
