FRAMINGHAM – The Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association (MRPA) recently elected Elaine Prue to serve as the next Vice President of the Association. Elaine works as the Superintendent of Recreation for the City of Framingham’s Division of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs.
Prue was elected by the membership and was sworn in as Vice President on Wednesday, March 29 at the MRPA’s annual conference and membership meeting.
“I am honored and excited to be elected by my colleagues into the position of Vice President of the Association. Working in collaboration with highly motivated individuals across the state and region will not only permit me to contribute to the prolonged success of the MRPA, it will also allow me the opportunity to grow professionally. I would like to thank the leadership of the Division as well as our Parks Commission for their support as I begin this new role”, said Prue.

The Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association is dedicated to the promotion, advancement, development, and improvement of all recreation and park services within Massachusetts as well as on a national level.
