FRAMINGHAM – We are excited to announce that Charlie Sisitsky is officially launching his campaign for Mayor of Framingham! A formal announcement is scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 5 p.m.at Framingham’s Historic Village Hall, on the Centre Common, located at 2 Oak Street in Framingham.

In the days and weeks ahead, Charlie looks forward to connecting with residents to seek feedback about his vision and plans in his pursuit to become the next Mayor of Framingham. As someone who understands the complexities of government, Charlie plans to bring a culture of collaboration and cooperation from the Mayor’s Office to the School Committee, City Council, legislative delegation, and neighborhood groups.

Charlie’s experience in public service is unparalleled. His role as a former representative of District One as a City Councilor and Board of Selectmen member have prepared him to effectively and efficiently move Framingham forward.

In these roles, he personally managed tens of millions of dollars in public budgets and oversaw the work of hundreds of municipal employees, contractors and consultants.

Transparency, collaboration, fiscal responsibility, and common-sense stakeholder engagement represents how Charlie operates. Charlie recognizes the immediate importance of focusing on post-pandemic recovery and renewal while placing priorities on pandemic recovery, education, the environment, our seniors, public safety, civic engagement, and a balanced and fair budget for all of Framingham.

Throughout Charlie’s career, he has demonstrated the ability to work cooperatively and effectively with the best interests of the community in mind. Charlie’s mentality to maintain strong relations and communications with all stakeholders led to numerous accomplishments our City still continues to benefit from. Charlie understands the issues faced by Framingham residents and businesses, and is focused on working collaboratively with community leaders, elected officials, and municipal employees to eliminate hurdles and get Framingham back on track.

On Sunday, Representative Jack Patrick Lewis and Representative Maria Robinson will join Charlie, as well as other current and former elected state and city officials, civic leaders and esteemed community members for the official launch of the Charlie for Framingham Mayoral campaign at Framingham’s Historic Village Hall.
