BOSTON – Mother Nature delivered a couple of inches of snow to MetroWest and a half a foot of snow to Worcester today, April 16.

At 1:30 p.m. today, 6.8 inches of snow was recorded in the City of Worcester, according to the National Weather Service.

National Weather Service uses media, trained spotters, ham radio operators and the general public to record snowfall totals.

Ashfield in Franklin County recorded the most snow in the Commonwealth from this April storm with 10 inches as of 3:55 p.m.

In Middlesex County, Asbury recorded 8.5 inches of snow as of 1:30 p.m.

Framingham and Hopkinton both recorded 2 inches of snow, and by 4 p.m. all of it was gone.
