Framingham High Advances To State Finals in Drama Festival; Wins 5 Individual Awards

FRAMINGHAM – For the 13th time in 15 years, the Framingham High School Drama Company advances to the finals of the METG’s state drama festival.

Framingham High competed in a semifinal round yesterday at Framingham High.

Framingham performed She Kills Monsters.

Seven schools performed yesterday at Framingham High, with the Framingham and Weymouth High advancing to the finals in Boston. In total, 14 high schools advanced to the finals on March 22-24.

Framingham last won the state title in 2016.

Framingham High senior Kyle Stamm won the David Dooley award.

Three Framingham High students won acting awards – Cleopatra Mavhunga, Amanda Fawell, and Nick Amico.

Framingham students Jerry MacDonald won an award for lighting.
