UPDATED: 5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Monday, March 5

1 Framingham High will host a dance competition tonight. The event was rescheduled from the weekend. Competition begins at 6:30 at Framingham High’s gym. Admission$10. The Flyers will compete.


2. Framingham High School PTBO is hosting Terry Green Clark, author of Demystifying College Admissions, at its meeting tonight at 7 in the library.

“Clark has gone through the process with her own three children and will offer practical tips, advice and information that will be helpful to you in this important, but sometimes overwhelming, process,” said the PTBO.


3.   Nobscot Neighbors is hosting a meeting with several City Councilors tonight at Heritage on Water Street at 7 p.m. City Councilors scheduled to attend include District 1 Charlie Sisitsky, at-large George King, District 2 Pam Richardson, and District 3 Adam Steiner. The Mayor is also scheduled to attend.


4. CITY of FRAMINGHAM meetings:

  • UPDATED: Framingham School Budget hearing #3 scheduled for today at 4 p.m. at McAuliffe Library. (City website listed meeting at Fuller Middle, but School Committee Chair said it has been moved to the library_
  • Framingham School Building Committee meeting tonight at 7 at King Elementary.
  • Keefe Technical School Committee meeting tonight at 7 at the school.
  • Team Framingham meeting at 7 in the Memorial Building. The group will meet with the Mayor on March 7.
  • License Commission scheduled to meet at 7 in the Ablondi Room in the Memorial Building.
