FRAMINGHAM – Penelope J. “Penny” (Bothwell) West, 76, passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends Thursday, March 1, 2018 following several lengthy illnesses.
Born in Norwood, she graduated from Framingham High School in 1959.
She also earned her Degree from Quinsigamond Community College and worked for many years as a bank teller at the Framingham Cooperative Bank, retiring from EMC, accounts receivable.
She loved to read, travel and spend time in the sun.
Penny was a proud 32-year friend of Bill W.
Her favorite past time was New England sports teams. She liked two baseball teams. The Boston Red Sox and whoever beat the Yankees.
The most joy came to Penny in the form of family, her twin children, Carol A. and Steven R. both of Framingham, her cherished granddaughter, Alexis Caryn, her brother Ted Tusoni & his wife Carol of Framingham, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Sully Tusoni, and her sister, Brenda Balduf and her husband, Mort Balduf and niece, Nikki Balduf
Family and friends will honor and remember her life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln Street in Framingham.
Funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home at 11 a.m.
Interment will be private.
