After Almost 20 Years, Natick Business To Close In March

NATICK – After almost two decades of operating in Natick, a business on Speen Street announced it will close next month.

Direct Tire & Auto Service at 321 Speen Street will close on March 3.

The chain which had five locations, announced today, February 6, that it will close the Natick location only.

“After almost 20 years of doing business in our Natick location, I am very sorry to say that we could not negotiate a new lease with our landlord. They are doing some redevelopment with the Mall and we could not arrange to be part of this. Sadly, we will be closing our Natick location on Saturday, March 3,” wrote Direct Tire and Auto Servce to customers today.

“Dave, Steve and their Team have been what has made the Natick location your go to place for tires and auto service for many years and I know they are the face of my company and they will be with my Team for many years to come,” wrote President and CEO Barry Steinberg.

“All of our policies, warranties and maintenance programs will be honored at all of our 4 other locations in Watertown, Norwood, Peabody and Medway.  Your records of work performed on your vehicles is available at these locations as well,” said Steinberg, in an email to customers.

Direct Tire & Auto Service is located in the Cloverleaf Plaza, with Burlington Coat Factory and Total Wine & More.
