Framingham Police Officer Delivers Baby on Super Bowl Sunday

FRAMINGHAM – A Framingham Police Officer completed a big delivery just before tonight’s historic Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Framingham Police Officer Elizabeth Morrison helped to deliver a baby boy at 5:55 p.m. today, February 4.

Mom and baby are doing fine. They are at MetroWest Medical Center, said Framingham Police Lt. Patricia Grigas.

The baby was named Christopher, said she said.

Morrison is one of the newest police officers on the Framingham Police Department.

Framingham Police received a medical call to an irving Street apartment tonight, said Lt. Grigas.

“The mom was ready to deliver. The baby was crowning,” said Lt. Grigas.

Officer Morrison assisted with the delivery, said Lt. Grigas.

“The baby cried right away and opened his eyes” after delivery, said Lt. Grigas.
