UPDATED: After 20 Years, Popular Route 9 Resaturant To Close Sunday

NATICK – After 20 years, a popular MetroWest resturant is closing its doors.

In 1998, the historic Revere Beach establishment opened a location in Natick at Jordan’s Furniture.

“Kelly’s has been at the Natick location for 20 years. Our lease agreement with Jordan’s Furniture had ended and we decided not to re-sign. We can’t thank the people of the MetroWest area enough for 20 years of patronage,” said the establishment this morning to Framingham Source.

The restaurant is expected to close Sunday.

The Kelly’s Roast Beef locations in Revere, Medford, Saugus, Danvers are still open.

The Kelly’s Roast Beef location in Natick was very popular with MetroWest families, as it held family nights and hosted several PTO fundraisers.

The original Kelly’s opened on Revere Beach in 1951.
