5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Monday, January 22

1 The Framingham School Committee is holding a budget workshop meeting today at 4 p.m. at Fuller Middle School. The workshop is expected to end at 6:30 p.m.

 

 

2. The Framingham Homework Center will announce the winners of its 4th Annual Essay Contest tonight. Middle and high school students were invited to write about three things they would ask the new Mayor of the City of Framingham. In the essay, teen were asked to “explain how you arrived at each idea, why you think each idea would be good for Framingham, and why you think it’s important the mayor gets on board to support each idea.”

The reception with the teen authors and the Mayor is at 7 p.m. at the main Framingham Library on Lexington Street. The winners will be announced tonight.
