Sister Marie Louis McDonough, 74, Former St. Tarcisius School Librarian

Sister Marie Louise McDonough, CSJ, in her 74th year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, died Thursday, January 11, 2018.

Devoted daughter of Terrance and Mary (McDonough) McDonough, and beloved sister of the late John, Peter, Terrance, Thomas, Walter McDonough, and Mary Byrnes.

Sister Marie Louise is survived by her loving sister, Margaret (Peggy) Foley, her many cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces, and great grandnephews, and her Sisters in the Congregation.

Formerly missioned as a member of the support staff at the Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse Brighton; St. Thomas Aquinas Convent, Jamaica Plain; and at Aquinas Jr. College, Newton.  Sister Marie Louise also ministered as an LPN at Bethany Health Care Center; Pastoral Associate for the Elderly at St. Anthony Parish, Allston; as School Nurse at St. Clare High School, Roslindale; as Health Care Coordinator at Sisters of St. Joseph Fontbonne Hall, Framingham; and as Librarian at St. Tarcisius School, Framingham.

Visiting hours at Holy Family Chapel, Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, 631 Cambridge St., Brighton, MA, Monday, January 15 from9  to 10:15 a.m.

Prayer Service at 10:15 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at Holy Family Chapel, Monday, January 15, at 10:30 a.m.

Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Natick.
