Flyers Shut Out Tigers With Goals By Nichols, James, and Conzo

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High boys ice hockey team got its first win in the last six games last night.

The Flyers shut out the Tigers of Newton North on the road 3-0.

It was the first victory in 2018 for the Flyers, who are now 3-5-3, under head coach Will Ortiz.

The Flyers were up 1-0 after the opening period, 2-0 after the middle period, and closed out the game with the 3-0 shut out.

Framingham junior Nathan Nichols, senior Anthony James, and junior PJ Conzo scored goals in the victory.

Framingham senior goalie Alex Moore earned his second shut out of the season.

The Flyers will host Walpole High on Saturday, January 13 at 3:40 p.m. at Loring Arena.
