3 Finalists for Framingham Elementary Principal Announced

FRAMINGHAM  –  Framingham Public Schools announced today that the screening committee for Potter Road Elementary School has identified three finalists.

Potter Road Principal Paula Del Prete announced she would retire at the end of the school year in 2017.

They are:

  • Anne Diaz is currently an Assistant Principal at the Athol Community Elementary School in Athol, where she has served in this role since 2015. Prior to that, she worked as a teacher and library media specialist in the Quabbin Regional School District. A graduate of Becker College, she earned her Master’s in Education from Cambridge College.
  • Elizabeth Garden is currently a Principal at Florence Roche Elementary School in Groton, where she has also served as Interim Principal and Assistant Principal, beginning her administrative career in 2011. Prior to that, she was an Assistant Principal in the Early Childhood Program in Leominster and an elementary teacher at the Armstrong Elementary School in Westborough. A graduate of George Mason University, she earned her Master’s from Wheelock College and her CAGS from Fitchburg State College.
  • Larry Wolpe is currently an Assistant Principal at Potter Road Elementary School in Framingham, where he has served in this role since 2012. Prior to that, he was an elementary teacher at Mary E. Stapleton Elementary School in Framingham. A graduate of Ithaca College, he earned his Masters in Elementary Education from Lesley University.

A “Meet the Candidates” Faculty and Staff Forum will take place on Thursday, January 18 at the Potter Road Library from 3:30 pm to 5:10 p.m.

A “Meet the Candidates” Community Forum will take place on Thursday, January 18 at the Potter Road Library from 6:30 pm to 8:10 p.m.
