5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Friday, January 5

1 Framingham Schools are closed today – that includes Framingham Public Schools, Keefe Technical, Marian High, Christa McAuliffe Charter and Saint Bridget School.

City of Framingham building, including the Memorial Building, the libraries, and the Callahan Center are closed today as well.

 

 

2.  FLYERS in action:

  • The Framingham High boys swim & dive meet is cancelled today.
  • As Loring Arena is closed, there is no hockey game today.

 

 

3. Trash collection will take place today. The City of Framingham is on a 2-day delayed scheduled due to New Year’s Day and the snowstorm. Thursday’s trash will be collected on Saturday and Friday’s trash will be collected on Sunday.

 

4. Exhibit A Brewing is hosting a Demo Tape 12 party at Amazing Things Arts Center tonight from 6 to 9. The Melt food truck, out of Worcester will be parked at the Hollis Street party.

 

5.  PLAN AHEAD: Last night’s Framingham Planning Board meeting was cancelled. All public hearings and items that appear on the January 4, 2018 agenda have been moved to Monday, January 8.
