George Freeman Manahan, 94, of Framingham peacefully passed away on December 28, 2017, after a short illness, surrounded by family.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 33 years, Marian Louise (Pike) Manahan, his second wife of 26 years, Delma (Calderan) Manahan, his eldest daughter Linda Joyce Witherell, his parents, John I. Manahan, and Bernice (Flint) Manahan, and his brother John F. Manahan.
He leaves five daughters, Carol (Anni Jensen) Manahan of Richmond CA, Susan (Charles) Krummel of Lilburn, GA, Bernice G. Manahan, Leslie (Robert) Saporetti of Ashland MA, and Rachel (George) Calado of Sutton MA, and 11 grandchildren.
Manahan was an Eagle Scout, a WWII Navy Veteran, and a 70-year Master Mason.
He was a 1953 graduate of MIT and had a successful career in the computer industry, retiring in 1986 from Honeywell Corp.
He enjoyed scuba diving, fishing, and visiting the White Mountains.
A private service will be held in the springtime.
