UPDATED: 3 Framingham Residents Indicted on Child Rape Charges

FRAMINGHAM – A Middlesex County grand jury indicted two Framingham men and a woman on child rape charges.

Indicted were:

  • Octavia Andrade, 35, of 154 Irving Street in Framingham. She was indicted on charges of aggravated rape of a child by force (2 counts), aggravated rape of a child (2 counts), child endangerment, and witness intimidation.
  • Joshua Corbett, 26. of 3 Merchant Road in Framingham. He was indicted on charges of aggravated rape of a child by force, subsequent offense, aggravated rape of a child, subsequent offense, and failure to register as a sex offender, subsequent offense.
  • Richard Corbett29, was charged with aggravated rape of a child (2 counts), subsequent offense, aggravated rape of a child by force, subsequent offense, and failure to register as a sex offender, subsequent offense.

   

The indictments were handed down as of November 16. The charges are allegations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty, said the Middlesex County District Attorney’s office. The Assistant District Attorney prosecuting the case is Kate Cimini.

Framingham Police arrested Corbett on Route 135 and Andrade, at MetroWest Medical Center in August.

 Both were arraigned in Framingham District Court on Friday and held on $100,000 bail.

Details of the rape have not been released by police nor the DA’s office.

Joshua Corbett is a convicted rapist. In 2011, he was convicted of a rape of a girl, 11, in Ashland. The then 20-year-old Corbett served 18 months in prison for the conviction.
