The following is a press release from the Framingham Public Schools:
In accordance with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, 603 CMR 23.06 (3), the Framingham Public Schools will be destroying records of special education students who graduated, transferred, withdrew, or aged out as of June 2010.
Students who wish to receive their personal student files should request their file by calling the Special Education Department at 508-626-9123 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday no later than December 8.
Students will have their files available for pick-up from December 18 to December 22.
A state-issued form of identification will be required to retrieve records.
The Special Education Department is located at 73 Mt. Wayte Ave. Suite #5 in Framingham.
