FRAMINGHAM – June M. (Deloury) Tivnan, 76, a longtime Framingham resident, and more recently of Dennisport, died Sunday, November 12, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Belmont, she was the daughter of the late Robert G. & Margaret (Barry) Deloury.
She was raised and educated in Waltham. She worked several administrative jobs before attending nursing school in her 40’s at Framungham Union Hospital Nursing School. She ended her career dedicated to families in need as a nurse with Hospice of Cape Cod. June loved the beach and spent many summers at the family cottage on Cape Cod, only to realize her dream of living there full time for the last 15 years.
She was dedicated to her family, especially her daughter, Karen M. Myers & her husband Thomas of Framingham, her son, Richard L. Jr. & his wife Veronica of Woburn, her grandchildren, Jimmy, Eddie, Mary and Colleen, her twin sister, Jean Rousseau & her husband Joseph of Framingham, her brother Robert Deloury & his wife Maureen of Framingham, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins
Family and friends will honor and remember June’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home in Framingham on Thursday, November 16 from 8 to 9:30 a.m.
Her funeral Mass will follow in St. George’s Church, 74 School St. Saxonville at 10 a.m.
Interment will be private.
