Weather Alert: Wind Advisory Issued; Temperatures To Drop Below Freezing Today

FRAMINGHAM – It’s cold outside! And its only going to get colder, and windy.

The National Weather Serbice issued a win advisory this morning, November 10 at 4 a.m., which will remain in effect through 6 p.m.

Winds will be from the northwest at 15 to 25 miles per hour, with gusts of more than 40 miles per hour.

The peak gusts will be this morning, dropping temperatures to below freezing. Gusys could linger into this evening.

Winds of this magnitude may bring down some limbs or small trees. Isolated power outages are possible.

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph are expected, with gusts between 46 to 57 mph.

Driving can also be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

The temperature is at 45 degrees at 5:20 a.m., but with the wind chill this morning the temperature could feel like in the 20s.
