5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: November 10

1 Framingham Public Schools are closed today, in observance of Veterans Day.

 

2. There is trash and recycling collection today, as the Town of Framingham will observe Veterans Day on Saturday. Both the main Framingham Library and the Christa McAuliffe Library branch will be closed on Saturday.

 

 

3.  The InterFaith Clergy Association of Framingham will sponsor a Unity Breakfast for all candidates on the ballot this morning at the Greater Framingham Community Church.

4. The Performing Arts Center of MetroWest and AMC Theatres in Framingham are hosting a special early screening of the movie Daddy’s Home 2 today. Scenes from the movie were filmed in Framingham, and there were Framingham residents used as extra.

 

 

5. Tonight is opening night for Mary Poppins at Framingham High School. Show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are extremely limited. There are a few tickets available tonight at the box office. Tickets are extremely limited for Saturday’s performance and both performances next weekend.

There is a special performance on November 15 for Framingham High students and staff at 7 p.m.
