Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Mary (Johnson) Gingras.
She was the loving wife of 35 years to Eric French.
French was the Director of Environmental Services at Oaknoll Healthcare as well as Kathleen Daniels Nursing Home.
She worked as a Home Health Aide working with the elderly and a school bus Monitor with special needs children in Framingham.
A devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed working with the elderly, children and loved helping people. She enjoyed baking, gardening, listening to music, being around friends, family, her dog, St. Nick and her cat, Pacino
She leaves behind her husband Eric French of Framingham, Daughter Michelle Gingras of Framingham, two grandchildren Anthony and Braelyn Roy of Framingham. Brother Kenneth R. Gingras and wife Susan of West Barnstable, sister, Eileen Gingras of Ashland, brother, Wilfred A. Gingras and wife Elizabeth of Ashland, sister, Karen N Gingras and partner Donna of Framingham and brother, Richard Gingras of Millis, aunt, Anna Hitchcock of Shrewsbury, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Heather French of Framingham, sister, Sharon Gingras and brother Victor Gingras of Natick.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to her funeral Mass on Thursday, November 2, 10 a.m., St. Tarcisius Church in Framingham.
Burial will follow at St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham.
Visiting hours at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street in Framingham, will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
