Devin Suau, 6, Lost His Battle With DIPG

FRAMINGHAM – Devin Suau, 6, passed away early this morning, October 20.

The brave Framingham boy died just a few days from his 7th birthday, on October 27.

His mom Christine announced he lost his battle with DIPG on the #WhyNotDevin Facebook page.

“With a beyond shattered heart and soul, I write this post to tell you that Our little super hero lost his very courageous battle early this morning surrounded by Jay and I and the boys. I know my mom was waiting with the biggest hug along with all those who earned their beautiful wings before us. Please continue to pray for my boys. Today is the worst day of our lives,” wrote Christine Suau.

Devin fought a hard battle with DIPG, a rare and aggressive form of cancer, that has no cure, at this time.

His family started the hashtag #WHYNOTDEVIN to bring awareness to the disease and the hope that Devin would have been the first to defeat it.
