UPDATED: Pregnant Woman Struck in Framingham Crosswalk

FRAMINGHAM – A Framingham woman, who is 7-months pregnant, was struck on Route 126 while in the crosswalk.

The woman was treated for a “significant ankle injury,” said Framingham Police Lt. Patricia Grigas.

The incident happened around 6 p.m. in downtown Framingham, near Pho Dakao restaurant.

“A truck was stopped in the right hand lane when a car travelling north hit her,” according to Police.

The driver stopped and was “shaken,” said Lt. Grigas.

Framingham Fire and Police responded.

The woman was transported to Beth Israel Hospital via ambulance.
