FRAMINGHAM – More than $7,000 worth of pies were sold on the Framingham Centre Common Saturday, October 14, at the 27th Annual Pies on the Common.
The event was a fundraiser for First Parish in Framingham church.
Yesterday, the church sold 468 pies. Flavors ranged from apple, cherry, pumpkin, tollhouse, and even chicken pot pies.
Sandy Porter said she baked 24 tollhouse pies, and then another 76 apple pies for the annual autumn tradition.
There was also a kids area with face painting, spin art, sand art, and flamingo games.
