Framingham Loses to Braintree 3-1; 6 Flyers on Injured List

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham lost to Braintree 3-1 yesterday, October 10, on the road.

“With 6 players on the injured list we came together and fought hard to take a game away from Braintree,” said head coach Emily Viti.

Game scores were 25-10,25-14,24-26, and 25-19.
“Rachel Lew stepped up as usual and left her role as Libero and outside hitter to become our setter for the night. Though we missed her ball control on serve receive she used that same focused and transitioned it to her sets,” said Viti.
“Helena Thomas and Sarah Stuart stepped up as well to embrace the teams need for their power serves and aggressive net play,” said Viti. “Katlyn Alves also had a great match defensively!”
Framingham High will host the Tigers of Newton North on Thursday, October 12.
