FRAMINGHAM – The 200 Foundation presented Daniel’s Table with a $10,000 check on Monday afternoon.
Daniel’s Table is a Framingham-based nonprofit organization that seeks to solve hunger in the town, created by David and Alicia Blais.
The check will help the organization feed 400-500 Framingham families on Thanksgiving.
Daniel’s Table founder David Blais said the organization, based out of Pearl Street, will be establishing its own Build Your Own basket event for the November holiday.
“If you or someone you know needs some help with celebrating the holiday of Thanksgiving please reach out and we will put you on our list,” said Blais.
For more than 5 years, The 200 Foundation has provided grants to local non-profit organizations assisting those most in need. The Foundation’s focus on food, clothing, shelter and rehabilitation services has made a profound impact in people’s lives.
